摘要
This article aims to analyze the formation of children through their children's behavior and their social relations arranged from a gender perspective. For this procedure, we take as the theoretical basis foulcaultianos of studies to analyze the autobiographical writing of Latin American authors, being a Brazilian, Cecilia Meireles and the other, Uruguay, Juana Ibarbourou describing about his childhood reminiscences. For sociological analysis of these literary works we have guided us in Bourdieu and Norbert Elias, from their concepts of social habitus, individualization of the subject and power relations. As a result, we aim to understand how was the formation of Brazilian and Uruguayan child, his adaptation to the norms, rules, as well as their inclusion as a social subject, thus preparing a sociological bias about children, childhood and gender.
