摘要
In this study, the pressure distributions on the surface of a yawed circular cylinder were measured and the axial range maintaining quasi-two-dimensional characteristics along its axis was determined. Visualization techniques were also used to investigate the wake size behind the yawed cylinder. Our results demonstrated the applicability of the independence principle when air inhalation from narrow spaces on the walls is absolutely prevented. These experimental results were also compared with results calculated by direct numerical simulation.
