Sexual violence against women. An approach from criminology, victimology and law

This article is a preview of an investigation called "rights of women victims of sexual crimes in the jurisdiction of Bucaramanga, in the applicability of the accusatory system (L 906/2004)". This has as context the sexual violence in Colombia that is becoming more serious, taking into account the growing number of victims insideand outside the internal armed conflict, the motivations that lead to the perpetrators, and various forms of impunity. Because of its importance from a gender perspective, taking as reference some theoretical approaches based on sociology, criminology, victimology and the law allows a holistic understanding of the problem.
