SUPERPARAMAGNETISM AND ANTIFERROMAGNETIC COUPLING IN GIANT MAGNETORESISTIVE NANOCRYSTALLIZED MELT-SPUN CU92CO8 RIBBONS

摘要
Melt-spun ribbons of Cu92Co8 are found to exhibit giant magnetoresistance with a maximum of 17% at 5 K. Magnetization curves at different temperatures indicate that GMR is due to superparamagnetism of the nanocrystallized fee Go-rich clusters, and give negative values of the temperature of order Theta in a Langevin law fit.
