摘要
DNA vaccine engineering has become the favoured strategy for inducing immunity. The molecular precision offered to direct and amplify the immunity by the gene-based vaccines has always been attractive. The design of the vector is the most important aspect to be considered, as several factors such as promoter, enhancer, codon choice and genetic adjuvants are the key elements that control the expression of the cloned antigen gene. The review helps to consider the manufacturing ease and factors that are to be taken into account while constructing the vector.
