摘要
The purpose of this paper is to present a possibility the treatment of the discipline of History of Education in the perspective of the school culture. Therefore, the present article begins with the approach of the history of own discipline, which originated in teacher training courses, spread over the world from the early twentieth century. Following are presented the uses of the term culture, specifically in the humanities and with the development of so-called New History. In the context of research on the history of education, addresses the school culture as objects and historical category and the possible construction of a history of education, which meets the intent of making a story from within, the reconstruction of a discipline through practices and actions of educational agents.
