摘要
Laser excitation in a diffusion cooled annular coaxial geometry CO2 laser by longitudinal dc electrical discharge stabilized by a rotating transverse magnetic field has been demonstrated. The electrical discharge behavior and the optical gain characteristics of such a CO2 laser system are discussed.
