摘要
Instrumental neutron activation analysis has been used to make a multi-elemental determination in Artemisia herba-alba Asso, a traditional medicine plant used in Algeria to treat diabetes mellitus. The exactitude of the results was assessed by analyzing the certified reference material GBW 07605 (GSV-4) tea leaves. A. herba-alba was characterized by high K and Ca contents. However toxic elements in this species were within the safety limits suggested by WHO/FAO. These data analysis for this medicinal plant can be useful for therapeutics and pharmaceutical purposes.
