This essay introduces a conceptual journey through the tasks of the Social Worker in the educational sector, explores new development alternatives, their potentialities and weaknesses. For this, it was necessary to do an approach to the educational community in order to make the Social Worker's tasks known, the relationships woven between the family and the institution for the shaping and growth of the students.
