摘要
Chronic rupture of the long head of biceps tendon is usually asymptomatic, but some active patients suffer from long-term cramping pain and discomfort associated with repetitive use of their biceps. In this group of patients, biceps tenodesis may relieve the symptoms. However, because of the chronicity of these cases, the biceps muscle is too retracted, degenerate, and irretrievable for a standard proximal biceps tenodesis. We present a technique of biceps tenodesis using multiple suture anchors to create a footprint attachment, specifically designed to treat these symptomatic chronic long head of biceps ruptures.
