摘要
The opening of new schools and programmes for deaf children in Greece six years ago created many problems that demanded immediate solutions. A systems approach was adapted in order to handle these problems in an organised manner. This approach included: (a) a needs assessment study where the most critical needs were identified by people related to the school system and (b) design development of programmes of action in order to meet these priority needs. Four priority needs were identified by all participants in the needs assessment study. Programmes were planned and developed in order to meet each of these four priority needs.
