摘要
The article reviews the concepts of information and communication from an economic viewpoint. After a detailed discussion of the communication process-which is by definition the transfer of information-and of measurement problems, three possible uses of information are identified and considered: the productive, the intermediary, and the consumptive use. A discussion on medium choice completes the review of communication processes.
