People with disabilities in Spain: job placement and economic crisis

摘要：

This paper explores the current employment situation of people with disabilities in Spain and how it has changed during the recent economic crisis. Macroeconomic data on the employment of disabled and non-disabled populations from 2008 to 2012 are compared. The results show that people with disabilities face a worse situation in terms of both job placement and wages. While the economic crisis has had serious effects on both groups, the effects on the non-disabled population have been more pronounced.
