OPTICAL PATHLENGTH CONSIDERATIONS IN TRANSMISSION SPECTROELECTROCHEMICAL MEASUREMENTS

摘要
A transmission spectroelectrochemical cell is described in which the optical path length can be varied to enable consideration of its effect on electrochemical characteristics such as cell time constant. The utility of the short path length cell was demonstrated in the measurement of the 2nd order homogeneous electron transfer rate constant for the reaction of horse heart cytochrome c and hexaammineuruthenium(II).
