Objectives: To report a case of an adult white Brazilian woman, with intraventricular hemorrhage due to Moyamoya Disease and to review the Brazilian literature reports on this disease. Method: Case report and Medline and Lilacs databases literature review. Conclusion: It was observed differences between Moyamoya Disease in Brazil and Asia regarding their demographic characteristics and clinical presentations.
