摘要:
Equations that describe the evolution of the species mass distribution of aparticulate system undergoing growth or evaporation, coagulation, deposition and introduction of new particles are derived. The system of equations is solved using a finite difference-finite element technique. Numerical solutions are obtained for cases for which analytical solutions are available. The results indicate that, for simulating multicomponent particulate system dynamics, the method is highly accurate. © 1990.
