摘要
Unfortunately, we septuagenerians can attest that aging is a time of ongoing vigor decline. However, as Dr. Alex Comfort has so cogently commented. ''The salient fact is obvious enough. 'Old' people are people who have lived a certain number of years, and that is all. If they have physical problem, so do younger people. '' It is equally true, however, that with aging one can enjoy a span of living richly and satisfyingly tranquil. Herein, some 25 aphorisms are cited which can, both individually and collectively, help to attain and maintain a life richly rewarding and satisfyingly tranquil.
