摘要
The hydrogenation kinetics of acrylic acid to propionic acid have been studied on a copper catalyst in a differential flow reactor. The experimental data found agree well with the rate equation derived from the presumptions of the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model. The equilibrium adsorption of acrylic and propionic acids has been followed by means of gas chromatography. The data measured are well described by the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
