摘要
The two-dimensional compressible laminar viscous flow of a Micropolar conducting fluid past a circular cylinder subjected to an imposed transverse magnetic field is investigated to study the effect of a magnetic field on gyration shedding at Reynolds number of 150. The theory and constitutive equations of Micropolar conducting fluid is briefly introduced. The spectral difference (SD) method is developed for unsteady compressible Magneto-Micropolar fluid dynamics. The simulation results of flow of Micropolar conducting fluid is analyzed and presented. This study describes the numerical algorithm in detail and presents the effect of magnetic field on the separated wake and on the periodic gyration shedding process.
