COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF THE ISOTHERMAL AND NONISOTHERMAL KINETIC CURVES BY GRAPHIC AND ANALYTIC METHODS

By analysing the isothermal and nonisothermal development of a process, a method for passing from the isothermal kinetics to the nonisothermal one, and the reverse, was proposed. In order to get a nonisotherm from an isotherm set, the passage between the isotherms is done at the same conversion degree, and the heating velocity is defined as DELTA Ti/DELTA t(i), where DELTA T(i) is the temperature difference between two consecutive isotherms, while DELTAt(i) is the time the system evoluates on the T(i) temperature isotherm in. Likewise an isotherm is got from a non-isotherms set by making a passage between the nonisotherms at a constant conversion degree and permiting the system (theoretically) to stay on an isotherm for a while DELTA t(i), where DELTAt(i) = DELTA T(i)/beta(i). The conversion degree thus calculated coincides with the values obtained from the integral equation describing the isothermal and nonisothermal kinetics.
