摘要:
Charge dynamics within the bases of power bipolar devices is described by a diffusion equation. It is shown that a spectral representation of the carrier distribution allows analog solution of this equation, by means of an equivalent electrical network (RC lines). The calculation carl be achieved using a general electrical simulation software. As an example, rite charge dynamics within the base of a PIN diode is described.
