摘要
A mathematical model is presented which can be used to predict the permeability of sandstones for the entire range of salt concentrations (say from 1 M NaCL solution to 0. 0 M). The model equations are derived in two regions. Above a critical salt concentration (CSC), the equations are based on electrokinetic interactions. Below CSC, filtration type equations are developed based on dispersion and clogging of pore constrictions by clay particles. The model predictions are found to be in good agreement with reported data on a particular sandstone.
