摘要
Free convective flow and heat transfer on a cone and a cylinder subjected to a radiation boundary condition has been analysed. The surfaces are assumed to be permeable and there is a constant mass flux across them. By similarity analysis the problem is reduced to a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations. The effect of mass flux on the velocity and temperature fields has been discussed. The total thermal energy transported by the boundary layer along the surface has been obtained.
