摘要
Characteristically, magnesium/manganese dioxide (Mg/MnO2) batteries perform poorly during periods of intermittent usage. Following removal of the protective magnesium hydroxide film, the anode undergoes corrosion resulting in severe capacity loss of between approximately 21 and 47%. Increasing the cathode water content can enhance battery performance by as much as 31%. © 1990.
