摘要
The problem of intense evaporation from a plane surface into the vapor of the same material is solved by the Mott-Smith method. It is shown that a Mach number equal to unity is the limiting value for this method in the case of stationary evaporation. Boundary values for the vapor parameters are obtained as a function of the Mach number and the evaporation coefficient.
