摘要
In this study were identified Phytophthora capsici, Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium oxysporum as causal agents of tomato wilt in Texcoco, Edo. Mexico and was assessed symptomatology and incidence of wilt induced by these fungi with different inoculation methods. The fungi were inoculated on tomato plants with 4-5 true leaves. The inoculation of P. capsici root dipping in zoospores solution was more efficient (96.7 % incidence) that inoculation to neck at 6 days after of the inoculation (dai). This fungus induced wilt, root and neck rot and death of plants 4 dai. The plants inoculation with R. solani by immersion in solution of propagules and wheat grain infected with the fungus did not cause the death of the plants, although the inoculation of wheat grain resulted in an incidence of 100 %, which is expressed in growth reduction (50 %) and in general yellowing. The inoculation of plants with F. oxysporum showed an incidence of 100 % at 15 and 30 dai for Rio Grande variety and Yaqui hybrid, respectively. Plants showed chlorosis, wilting, necrosis of vascular tissue and death.
