摘要
Theoretical calculations have been carried out of the transverse susceptibility for an ensemble of randomly oriented particles exhibiting the fanning mode of magnetisation reversal. The results are quantitatively and qualitatively different from calculations using Stoner-Wohlfarth theory and are in better agreement with experiment.
