摘要
Reaction of 1 (a derivative of [Ru(bipy)3]2+ with an externally-directed pendant phenol ligand) with [ML*(NO)Cl2][L* = hydrotris(3,5-dimethyl)pyrazolylborate; M = Mo, W] results in heterobinuclear species 4 and 5, in which a [Ru(bipy)3]2+ chromophore is linked at the periphery to electron-accepting molybdenum or tungsten mononitrosyl complexes; this results in complete quenching of the d-pi(Ru)-pi*(bipy) 3m.l.c.t. excited state at room temperature.
