摘要
This study aims at studying the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Engagement as variables that help us predict academic achievement in university students. The study also analyzes gender differences and the evolution throughout the different years of the degree course and the Master's and Postgraduate courses in Psychology. Research was carried out with a sample of 147 Psychology students at Blanquerna FPCEE. Results show differences depending on cycles and gender with regard to levels of engagement and emotional intelligence. Nevertheless, the predictive value of the variables concerning academic performance has not been proven.
