摘要：
A silver-loaded montmorillonite clay was prepared for possible topic use in pharmaceutical applications. The structural characterization of the Ag-added material was performed by using EXAFS spectroscopy. Triangular silver clusters were identified and support the possible coexistence of two silver species Ag-0 and Ag+, related to the observed unstable properties.
