摘要
Testing of hardware packages of sensors, actuators, and control electronics in the control loop using motion simulators like air bearing platform and servo table for IRS and SROSS satellites is described in detail. Simulation exercises and test results with plots are described bringing out the deficiencies in interfacing, logic problems, and the probability of unit-to-unit differences. Many software bugs were detected in the microprocessor-based control electronics in addition to controller gain update requirements. In the end, the importance of testing with hardware in a dynamic environment has been emphasized.
