摘要
The Co-Sb phase diagram has been investigated between 20 and 85 at.% Sb. The congruent melting point of Co1 ± xSb (with NiAs structure) was found at 47.0 ± 0.5 at.% Sb and 1493 ± 5 K. Lattice parameters, pycnometric densities and magnetic susceptibilities of this phase were determined at ambient temperature as a function of composition; they all exhibit a change in slope at the equiatomic composition. These effects are explained by the change in the defect mechanism from a defected NiAs structure on the antimony-rich side of the stoichiometric composition to a partially filled structure on the cobalt-rich side. © 1990.
