摘要：
The peroxo complexes of niobium have been synthesised and characterised. The complexes fail to oxidise alcohols and olefins stoichiometrically. However, they act as active catalysts in presence of t-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP), resulting in the formation of oxidation products. Competitive epoxidation or cycloolefins does not suggest coordination of olefins to metal ions.
