REACTION OF CH3O2+HO2 IN AIR AT 295-K - A PRODUCT STUDY

摘要
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used to identify and quantify methylhydroperoxide as the dominant product of the gas phase reaction of methylperoxy radicals with hydroperoxy radicals. At 295 K, and 700 Torr total pressure of air, 92±8% of the reaction of CH3O2 with HO2 proceeds via CH3O2+HO2→CH3OOH+O2. Results are discussed with respect to the previous kinetic and mechanistic studies of peroxy radicals and computer models of atmospheric chemistry. © 1990.
