摘要
The results presented in this paper are based on research collaborations between the three institutions, namely: (1) Nanyang Technological University, (2) The University of Queensland and (3) National University of Singapore. A software code named 'SEPSA', an acronym for super element for plate and shell analysis, has been developed. The software is applied to solve bending, buckling and vibration problems. The formulations and method of analysis are briefly discussed. Several advantages of the present method over other approximate discretization methods are also addressed. To demonstrate the capability of SEPSA, some plate and shell solutions are presented.
