ETHNOEDUCATION, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND THE SCHOOL: FROM INFORMAL EDUCATION TO THE SELF-ORGANIZED SCHOOL

摘要
The ability to move has been placed in a school environment, and this has led us to forget the children's tendency to learn by using their motor skills. An excesive emphasis on organizing, systematizing, and controlling the teaching and learning processes is the cause of having developed an increasingly artificial learning experience, making us forget that the ability to move is intrinsic to the human body. Traditional science, anchored on the Cartesian paradigm, has not been able to explain the apparent randomization and ambivalence of motor learning in informal contexts. That is the reason why we use a different theoretical approach, the chaos theory, to try to interpret those processes and their complexities. The results obtained through the studies carried out by Calvo, L6pez the Maturana and Moreno (2009) let us see how the ethnoeducational process is moving farther away from the lineal logic present in the school. This process is showing that children's autonomy inside their native community is not synonym for disorder, ambivalence and contradictions, but synonym for a self-learning process focused on the self-organizing abilities. With this job, we try to explain the self-organized learning ability. Our proposal is to go from the so-called "informal education" to a self-organized school.
