摘要
The linear regression technique has been used to analyse and develop the 'best' model equation for each of the single main operating variables of a shaking table separator. The models indicate the relationship between the operating variables and the product band positions (response variables) on the shaking table. All the models obtained were tested and validated for use as predictive models of the band positions. The use of statistical methods has advantages over classical methods in some circumstances when the significant effect of changes in the level of the operating variables was studied. © 1990.
