Morphological investigations were conducted in the Veterinary Medicine Timisoara Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine Discipline laboratory, between October 2009 and February 2012, through the necropsy of 820 chicken cadavers, of which 84 chicken, hybrids Ros 308, aged 4-46 days, had tracheal lessions associated with enteric lesions, lung and kidney characteristic of avian infectious bronchitis. The corpses proceeded from a farm of intensive growing system farm. The epidemiological investigation, clinical, pathological, and serological (ELISA) have established the diagnosis of avian infectious bronchitis. Avian infectious bronchitis, enteric form (GI) pathology was diagnosed in 84 chicken cadavers (10,24%) of the 820 corpses necropsied Pathologically were identified: catarrhal bronchopneumonia and pulmonary congestion, catarrhal or catarrhal enteritis proventriculitis and bleeding, vascular changes, dystrophy and necrobiosis pancreatic perihepatitis fibrinous and protido-lipidic hepatosis. Liver and pancreatic changes are the consequence of intestinal malabsorption determined by multiplying and bronchitis virus replication in enterocytes.
