摘要：

This research seeks to understand the trajectory of the Institute Professional Coelho Campos, in the period of 1922 to 1930, from the assumptions of Cultural History, in order to understand their contribution to the consolidation of teaching professional in Sergipe. The relevance of the study is that it brings in contributions for the History of Education, to suggest new topics for investigation, sources for the completion of studies, suggestions for literature, considerations about the teaching professional and technical female and male, in that period, the technology employed for the learning of letters, among other things, to enable the understanding of an important season for the historiography educational sergipana.
