ACTH AND RELATED PEPTIDES HYPERSECRETION IN ONE GIRL WITH PRIMARY EMPTY SELLA SYNDROME

摘要：
The case of a 12 years old girl with Primary Empty Sella, ACTH and related peptides hypersecretion with normal cortisol levels is described. We suggest enhanced hypophyseal secretion of radio-immunologically reactive but biologically inactive Proopiomelanocortin molecule caused by reduced dopaminergic control of ACTH secreting cells.
