CONCERNING OXIDE PHASES IN THE ERBIUM OXYGEN SYSTEM

摘要
In a recent paper Li, Hahn and Siegel have claimed the existence of new phases of erbium oxides. It appears that the authors have not taken into account the basic chemical behavior of the rare earth elements and the important results published previously. This note demonstrates that the results of Li et al. are, in fact, in good agreement with the well-known previously published results relative to the erbium oxides. © 1990.
