摘要
A new relation between the glass transition temperature and material constants is presented. It shows a remarkable universality of the glass transition temperature, T-g, for very different types of structural glass. The independence of T-g from the microscopic structure is interpreted as a consequence of the cooperative nature of the glass transition. The relation to the Lindemann melting criterion is clarified.
