摘要
There is great interest to describe and to explain the changes in the status and gender relationships after the migration. This article looks for to add information to this line, putting attention in the Peruvians arrived to Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area in the last fifteen years. The objective is to describe changes in the head of household, the home provider, the taking of decisions and the time dedicated to the domestic tasks. In this article puts special attention in those who emigrated in their adulthood, but it is also included the youths. Qualitative and quantitative information is used. It is shown the importance of the migration as factor of change in gender relationships, as well as the structural character of the gender system and their homeo-statics mechanisms.
