摘要
The density of slags produced from simple five-component synthetic mold powders has been measured both before and after annealing. Slag density was found to be related linearly to the level of addition of a given component. This relationship is essentially independent of the original slag composition. Using density measurements, it was found possible to detect changes in slag composition as small as 0.4 wt pct of a given component.
