CALCULATION OF ELECTRICAL-RESISTANCE OF DISLOCATIONS AND GRAIN-BOUNDARIES IN POLYVALENT AND TRANSITION-METALS

摘要
A calculation was made of dislocation and grain boundary contribution to electric conductivity for a number of transition metals (Cu, AU, Be, Zn, Cd, Al, Ti, Zr, Mo, W, Fe, Co, Ni, Pd, Pt). The model of crystal defects was used which took accounts of crystal lattice dilatation in the region of linear defect nucleus as well as the existence of resonant quasistationary states. In this case a low-angle grain boundary was represented by a set of dislocations though a large-angle one was considered as a set of cylindrical voids. Satisfactory agreement of calculated and experimental data is obtained.
