Tunneling measurements were performed on highly oriented sputtered thin films of Ba0.6K0.4BiO3 with Tc=23 K. The observed conductance spectrum clearly indicated a finite superconducting energy gap in this sytem, contrary to the previous report on polycrystalline samples. From the fit to the BCS theory, 2Δ(0)/kBTc=3.7±0.5 was obtained. © 1990.
