摘要
This article aims at analyzing the concept of cultural identity in the critical pedagogical theories in the last decades of the 20th century and in the contemporary times, highlighting the importance of such class for the promotion of an critical pedagogical praxis. From a review bibliography, we would like to emphasise positions of some influential authors of this theoretical, such as Paulo Freire, Henry Giroux and Peter McLaren. The argument is built as an answer to the following question: what theoretical advancements have already been carried out by the critical educational theory regarding to the identitary building? I propose the use of the Theory of the Social Representations of Serge Moscovici like an important theoretical referential system in the construction of a pedagogic practice that aims to the a identitary building critical of the students.
