摘要
The concentration profiles of components in the surface layers of the glass and quantitative kinetic characteristics of the interaction of sodium-aluminum borosilicate glass (NaAlB) with HF, HCl, and salt solutions are compared with the corresponding data on potassium-aluminum borosilicate (KAlB) and sodium aluminosilicate (NaAl) glasses. The chemical durability of the glasses decreases in the order NaAl > NaAlB > KAlB. Upon leaching in the salt solutions, boron oxide forms the difficultly soluble compounds in the surface layers. The presence of boron in the silicate network drastically decreases the network durability in HF and other solutions.
