摘要
The present study was performed within the framework of the program of thermal and energy regulation of new buildings in Tunisia. Its objective was to determine the thermo-physical characteristics of insulating materials used in buildings; namely, the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and coefficient of resistance to vapor diffusion. A total of 15 insulating materials were tested, five of which were original insulators and the rest were commercially available. The determination of the thermal conductivity and the thermal diffusivity is done using the box method. An experimental apparatus was designed according to the Tunisian standard, constructed, and used for determination of the vapor diffusion for all samples.
