摘要
Work is presented showing that the crystal structure of feldspar plays an important role in determining the energy positions at which optically stimulated luminescence transitions can occur, their thermo-optical behavior, the transport properties of charge in the conduction and valence bands, and the time decay characteristics of the luminescence. First-order calculations of these effects are presented, and comparison is made with experimental results.
